Christy Gray is RED DOT Project’s Director. She is an artist and designer who grew up in Shelby, Ohio. She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in interior design and worked in design for a private corporation until joining RED DOT in 2005. Her textile art can be found in private collections throughout Northeast Ohio. She lives in Bay Village with her husband, Christopher Gray, and their daughter.

Joan Perch

Joan Perch is the founder of RED DOT Project and assists with special projects. She grew up in South Plainfield, New Jersey, and earned a degree in art education at Kutztown State College in Pennsylvania. She has taught art in preschools and at the college level, and has more than 20 years of experience as a gallery owner, arts entrepreneur and creative bridge-builder in Northeast Ohio. She and her husband, Paul Biber, live in Sheffield Lake with their two sons.

Karen Sandstrom

Karen Sandstrom is RED DOT Project’s Communications Associate. She is a writer and illustrator who grew up in Bay Village, Ohio and earned a journalism degree at Bowling Green State University. After 25 years in newspapers, she enrolled in the Cleveland Institute of Art and will earn her BFA as a member of the class of 2012. She lives in South Euclid with her husband, Carlo Wolff, and two daughters.

RED DOT Project is located in the Tower Press Building, a historic live-work building in the burgeoning arts district known as The Art Quarter.  The arts district overlaps the Campus District, Midtown Corridor & St. Clair Superior neighborhoods and is the home to numerous artists, galleries, art businesses and arts organizations.

From The West:

  • I-90 East to “Exit 170B I-90 E/I-71 S/OH-176 S to CLEVELAND/COLUMBUS”
  • Bear right on ramp at Exit 170B to I-90 E / I-71 S / OH-176 S
  • Go North on I-90 for 2.6 miles to Exit 173C SUPERIOR AVE”
  • Take off-ramp at Exit 173C to SUPERIOR AVE
  • You will see a sign reading “US-6 to SUPERIOR AVE”
  • Take ramp to SUPERIOR AVE
  • Turn left on Superior Ave E (US-6) and go Southwest for 0.4 miles

From The East:

  • I-90 West to Exit 173C SUPERIOR AVE/ST CLAIR AVE”
  • Bear right onto off-ramp at Exit 173C,
  • Turn right on Superior Ave E (US-6) and go Southwest for 0.4 miles to 2010 Superior Ave

From The Southwest:

  • North on I-71 to I-90
  • Continue on I-90 and go North for 2.6 miles to Exit 173C SUPERIOR AVE”
  • Take off-ramp at Exit 173C to SUPERIOR AVE
  • You will see a sign reading “US-6 to SUPERIOR AVE”
  • Take ramp to SUPERIOR AVE
  • Turn left on Superior Ave E (US-6) and go Southwest for 0.4 miles

From The Southeast:

  • Go North on I-77 for Exit 162B
  • You will see a sign reading “Exit 162B to E 22nd ST/E 14TH ST”
  • Bear right onto off-ramp at Exit 162B to E 14th ST
  • You will see a sign reading “to E 14TH ST”
  • Take ramp to E 14TH ST
  • Continue on E 14th St and go North for 0.2 miles to E 18th St
  • Bear right onto E 18th St & go North for 0.7 miles to Superior Ave E (US-6)
  • Turn right on Superior Ave E (US-6) and go Northeast for 0.1 miles
